Plugin Supermarket Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal information Help Me Devvon LLC ("HMD", "we", "us") collects through Plugin Supermarket (the plugin and app, its online services at api.helpmedevvon.com, the Marketplace, the Community and the Build Assistant), why, who we share it with and the choices you have. Browsing and buying on the helpmedevvon.com website itself is covered by the privacy policy published on that website.

HMD does not sell your personal information, does not share it for targeted advertising, and Plugin Supermarket contains no advertising, analytics or tracking tools.

1. WHAT WE COLLECT

(a) Your account. When you first sign in with your helpmedevvon.com customer account, we receive from Shopify your customer ID and your email address (we keep the email only if Shopify confirms it is verified). We store your display name, your account status and roles, and which versions of our legal documents you accepted and when.

(b) Your computers. When you sign in on a computer we store:

  • a one-way scrambled identifier for the computer (made from the computer's own device identifier; the original identifier never leaves your computer);
  • the computer's name, as set in its system settings, and whether it is a Mac, Windows or Linux computer;
  • the internet (IP) address and approximate country and city of each sign-in, activation, deactivation or block, as reported by our hosting provider's network;
  • the times your sign-in sessions started and ended. Session keys are stored only in scrambled form.

We use this to keep your account within its computer limits, show you your computers, and detect shared logins, cracked copies and fraud. HMD staff can see this information for those purposes.

(c) Purchases, wallet and membership. When you top up your wallet, join the Creator Program or buy a request pack at helpmedevvon.com, Shopify sends us the order details we need (order number, products, amounts and your customer ID). We never receive your card or bank details. We keep records of your wallet balance and transactions, the plugins in your Library and how you got them, your membership periods and any gifts, and how many Build Assistant requests and free plugins you have used.

(d) The Build Assistant. When you use the Build Assistant, Plugin Supermarket sends your message, the recent conversation and a compact description of the plugin you are building (no images) to HMD's server, which forwards it to Anthropic, the company that provides the artificial intelligence, and returns the answer. HMD does not store the text of your messages or of the answers. We store how many requests you used, the AI model, the size of each request and its cost and timing. Anthropic processes this content under its commercial terms. Do not include personal or confidential information in Build Assistant messages.

(e) Creators. If you join the Creator Program and use creator features, we also collect:

  • your public profile, if you create one: handle, display name, bio, links, genres, profile and banner images, page style, profile song link and the plugins you feature;
  • the plugins you submit (the plugin file, title, description, category and price), our review decisions and the reasons for them;
  • your sales and earnings, and your payouts.

Payouts are handled by Stripe. Stripe collects your identity, bank and tax details directly; HMD does not receive or store them. We store your Stripe account ID, its country and whether Stripe needs more information from you.

(f) Community activity. We store the creators you follow and when, your reviews and ratings (including earlier versions of reviews you edit), helpful votes, reports and appeals, and the plugins you recently viewed on the Marketplace (you can turn this off or clear it).

(g) Emails. We send creators emails about their submissions (received, approved, or rejected with the reason) and payouts, using Klaviyo. To do this we send Klaviyo your email address and the details of that event. Marketing emails from HMD are covered by the helpmedevvon.com privacy policy, and you can unsubscribe from them at any time.

(h) Support and legal requests. If you email us, we keep the email and our reply.

(i) Server logs. Like most online services, our servers and hosting provider record technical logs of requests, which include IP addresses and times, to keep the service running and secure.

(j) On your computer only. Your plugins, designs, drafts, Library, settings and saved sessions stay on your computer. Purchased plugins are stored in a protected form tied to that computer. A file on your computer keeps your sign-in session and a record of which legal documents you accepted. Plugin Supermarket checks HMD's server for updates, but sends no usage statistics, crash reports or analytics.

2. HOW WE USE IT

We use personal information to: provide the Services you ask for (sign-in, purchases, downloads, the Build Assistant, the Marketplace and Community); enforce computer limits and protect accounts against sharing, cracking and fraud; process payments, creator earnings and payouts; review submissions and moderate content; send you emails about your account and your submissions; answer support requests; keep records we need for accounting, tax and legal reasons; enforce our terms; and understand, in aggregate, how the Services are used so we can improve them.

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, our legal bases are: performing our contract with you (providing the Services); our legitimate interests (security, fraud prevention, improving the Services and enforcing our terms), balanced against your rights; complying with legal obligations (such as tax records); and your consent where we ask for it.

3. WHO WE SHARE IT WITH

We share personal information only with:

  • Shopify, which runs helpmedevvon.com sign-in and checkout;
  • Stripe, which runs creator payouts and collects creators' payout and tax details;
  • Anthropic, which provides the Build Assistant's artificial intelligence;
  • Render, which hosts our servers and database;
  • Klaviyo, which sends creator emails;
  • other users, for anything you choose to make public (a public creator profile, published plugins, reviews and your creator name on them);
  • authorities or others where the law requires it, or where needed to protect the rights, safety and property of users, creators, HMD or others; and
  • a buyer or successor if HMD's business is sold or reorganized, under this policy.

These providers may only use the information to provide their services to HMD, except where their own privacy policies apply to services you use with them directly (such as completing Stripe onboarding or buying through Shopify checkout).

4. HOW LONG WE KEEP IT

We keep your account information while your account is open. Records of purchases, wallet transactions, earnings, payouts, legal acceptances and security events are kept for as long as we need them for accounting, tax, fraud prevention and legal purposes, even after an account is closed. Review history and moderation records are kept while the review exists and as needed to handle disputes. Server logs are kept for a limited time set by our hosting provider. Build Assistant message text is not kept by HMD at all. When we no longer need information, we delete it or remove what identifies you.

5. YOUR CHOICES AND RIGHTS

In Plugin Supermarket you can: see and sign out your computers; make your creator profile public or private and edit it; turn off or clear recently viewed plugins; edit or delete your reviews; and delete your account (Settings, Account, Delete my account). Deleting your account removes your email, name, computer names, IP addresses and locations, profile, reviews, follows and notifications straight away, and keeps only the records described in Section 4, without your name.

You can also ask us to give you a copy of your personal information, to correct it, or to delete it, by emailing info@helpmedevvon.com from the email address on your account. We will confirm the request comes from you and respond within 30 days (or the time the law where you live requires). When we delete an account, we remove or de-identify your personal information except records we must keep for the reasons in Section 4. We honor these requests for everyone, wherever you live, and we will not treat you differently for making one.

If you are in the EEA or UK you also have the right to object to or restrict some processing, to receive your data in a portable format, to withdraw consent at any time, and to complain to your local data protection authority.

6. CHILDREN

Plugin Supermarket is not for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child under 13 has given us personal information, email info@helpmedevvon.com and we will delete it.

7. SECURITY

We protect personal information with measures that include encrypted connections, sign-in session keys stored only in scrambled form, signed ownership passes, purchased plugins stored in a protected form, and limiting staff access to what they need. No system is completely secure. If a security breach affects your personal information, we will notify you as the law requires.

8. INTERNATIONAL USERS

HMD is based in the United States, and our providers process information in the United States and other countries. If you use Plugin Supermarket from outside the United States, your information is transferred to and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those where you live. Where the law requires, we use appropriate safeguards for these transfers.

9. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

We will post any changes in Plugin Supermarket and at helpmedevvon.com. If a change materially affects how we use your personal information, we will tell you before it takes effect.
